Electric Vehicle Charging Calculator
How long does it take to refuel an electric vehicle? How much will a charging session cost at SARJ Plus electric station?
We suggest you use a calculator that will help you calculate the time and cost of refueling your electric vehicle.
To calculate, you need to fill in the proposed parameters to get a more accurate result.

Each model of an electric car is equipped with a battery with a different capacity, the power of the on-board charger. In addition to these parameters, when calculating the time and cost of electric charging, the power of the outlet, the initial and desired level of charge of the electric vehicle are taken into account.
Why is it necessary to set the parameter of the "desired" electric vehicle charge level? For a maximum 100% charging of an electric vehicle, it will take more time than with a charging session up to 80% of the battery capacity: when charging an electric vehicle above 80%, individual battery batteries need to be separately balanced, which increases the charging period of an electric vehicle to 100%.
How to choose an electric filling station
First generation Nissan Leaf
Nissan Leaf battery capacity is 24 kWh
- Charging a Nissan Leaf for a range of 100 km, equipped with a module that provides a maximum battery consumption of up to 6.6 kW, will take about 3 hours. The Nissan Leaf has a mileage of about 130 km per charge.
- power of up to 3.3 kW, the charging period will be twice as long, i.e. about 6-7 hours.
- Fast charging your Nissan Leaf with the more powerful SuperCharger is not always possible, as not all Nissan Leafs come with a CHAdeMO fast charging port. But, in the case of a possible quick charge, the Leaf can be charged in 30 minutes at 50 kW charging power.
Tesla Model S 75D
The Tesla Model S 75D battery capacity is 75 kWh.
- Tesla Model S 75D charging from Tesla Wall Connector will be 4 hours, provided the Tesla charger supports 3-phase mains connection. But, the charging time depends on the network capability and the type of Tesla charger.
- when refueling from a charging station, for example, Schneider Electric with a power of 22 kW, Tesla Model S 75D will be charged in 3 hours.
- from Supercharger or CHAdeMO in 1.5 hours.
All calculations for the speed and time of electric charging should take into account a small error.
